- Georgetown- 1795, rebuilt 1887, Located on Seguin Islandat 180' above high water.
Head Beach
- Phippsburg- 360 yards, Sand cresent beach.
Hunnewell Beach- Phippsburgh
Popham Beach, Hunnewell Beach- Phippsburgh- 3,640 yards, Sand spit at river mouth. Swimming area.
Morse Mountain Preserve- Phippsburg- 600 acres, Seawall beach 2,200 yards has rock wall and dune area.
Popham Beach State Park- Phippsburg- Beach with tidal pools, rocky outcrops, swimming, fishing and picnic area.
Fort Baldwin- Phippsburg- 1905-1912, 1941 The fire tower was built. Views of the coast.
Fort Popham- Phippsburg- 1861, A semi circular granite fort which was never completed.
Pemaquid Beach- Bristol- 575 yards, Variegated sand and dunes.
Rachel Carson Salt Pond Preserve- Bristol- 78 arces, Tidal salt pond on small cove with granite outcrop.
Pemaquid Beach Park- Bristol- Swiiming beach, picnic tables, snack bars, bathhouse and bathrooms.
Pemaquid Point- Bristol- Sceinic lookout. Unusual group of  rock formations shaped by wave action.
Pemaquid Point Light- Bristol- 1827, One of Maine's prettiest lighthouses. Assessible by car.
Fort William Henry- Bristol- A replica of the 1692 fort that was the largest in America. Destroyed in 1696.
Robert P T Coffin Wildflower Reservation- Wollwich- 175 arces, Trails through forest overlooking the bay.
Hockomock Nature Trail- Bremen- Self guiding educational walk along shore, woods and field.
Todd Wildlife Sanctury- Bremen- Located on Hog Island and Bremen Long Island. Audubon nature study center.
Damariscotta Reversing Falls
- Damariscotta/Newcastle- 2 locations: Rt 1 bridge & Rt 129/130 bridge.
                                                         Reversing falls caused by tidal flow. Excellent practice run for conoeists.

Salt Bay
- Damariscotta- Bay and flats attract migrating shore birds. Roadside birdwatching .
Burnt Island Light- Southport- 1821, White stone tower. One of the oldest lights on the east coast. 2 miles from harbor.
The Cuckolds- Southport- 1892, White octagon tower was built on top of the existing building in 1907.
Hendricks Head Light- Southport- 1829, The present white square tower was bulit in 1875.
Monhegan Island Light
- Monhegan- 1850, The granite block tower is located on top of a hill in the center of the island.
Cathedral Woods
- Monhegan Island- Forest of tall spruce. Trails.
Ram Island Light
- Boothbay- 1883, Gray tower with red top. Joined to the island by a walkway.
Squirrel Point Light
- Arrowsic- 1898, Located on Arrowsic Island in the Kennebec River.
Fort Edgecomb
- Edgecomb- 1808-1809, Original octagon blockhouse with earthworks showing layers of construction.
