Ruggles House- Columbia Falls- 1800s furnishings, wood carvings and flying staircase. Sawyer Memorial Congregational Chruch- Jonesport- 1887, Tiffany style stained glass. Burnham Tavern- Machias- 1770, Oldest building in eastern Maine. Played a role in the capture of the British schooner Margaretta in 1775. Foster Rubicon- Machias- American opponents of British forces chose their destiny. Porter Memorial Library- Machias- 1892, Fireplace built from stones used as a ballast in the British warship Margaretta, which was captured during the first naval battle of the American Revolution.
